Hey LA!

Nobody is ever really prepared for a plumbing emergency. When a pipe bursts or a drain backs up, it's good to know you have a reliable plumber ready to ride to your rescue. But wouldn't it better to prevent the problem in the first place?

That's why I started this blog. The truth is, with a little forethought, most plumbing emergencies can be averted before they even start. All it takes is a little time and a little knowledge and (sometimes) a little elbow grease, and you’ll be able to go to sleep each night a little more confident that your home improvement budget isn’t going to get sucked down the drain (ha ha) by an unexpected plumbing crises.

So pull up a chair and start taking some notes. I’m going to tell you everything you need to keep your drains and pipes in good working order. And for those times when calling a plumber is absolutely necessary, I’ll offer some advice for dealing with professionals, so you can be sure you’re getting the best service at the best price, and nobody is going to rip you off.

Los Angeles is a great place, and I’ve gotten to know a lot of kind and generous people here. This little blog is just my way of giving back to the community that we all love. I’m looking forward to sharing what I know with you, and getting to know even more fabulous Angelinos along the way.

And oh yeah! Happy St. Patricks Day!
